We invite you to learn about three real client cases from the Legal Industry.

A legal firm going through an eDiscovery process.
The client had a large volume of e-mails that needed to be translated. Besides the text, the e-mails included the headers and other code that didn’t need to be translated but had to be preserved. The deadline was very tight and, as is often the case in legal projects, unmovable.
Instead of jumping directly to the translation stage, our team worked very hard pre-processing the files to preserve the code and non-translatable content and hide it so it wouldn’t hinder the translation effort or increase the cost unnecessarily.
We also put together a sizeable team of legal translators, and a single editor/reviewer at the end of the translation stage to ensure consistency.
The final step was the post-processing of the files and a thorough QA of the file format in order to ensure that the final files looked exactly like the original ones.
The client received all the translations in due time and form and was able to evaluate the e-mails. They were very happy with both the quality and fast delivery, and continue working with us until this day.
A law firm that was handling a divorce case.
The law firm’s client had several video recordings that proved that she was mistreated by her spouse. The video and audio quality wasn’t the best, and it needed to be transcribed and translated in order to be submitted as evidence.
One of our transcriptionists took care of transcribing the audio and preparing it for translation. There was some back and forth since not all of the words were audible and some parts needed to be marked as inaudible. The transcription had time codes for ease of reading.
Then the content was carefully translated and reviewed by our legal translators.
A final QA step was performed, checking the final translations against the videos one last time in order to make sure that the translations were correct in context.
The client was highly satisfied with our work, especially with our willingness to work with source materials that were very far from being perfect.
The legal and compliance department of a major media streaming company.
The crew was getting ready to shoot in Chile when they realized that they needed to have all licenses and releases translated into Spanish. The translations needed to be ready within 24 hours.
Time was of the essence, but at the same time the documents needed to comply with all the local legal requirements. With that in mind, our project management team quickly assembled the right team for the job: Legal translation specialists from both the US and Chile.
With the aid of a solid project schedule that optimized the use of time and resources, the team of specialists took care of the translations of all the documents required.
While the translation team was working at full speed to deliver on time, the project manager maintained constant communication with the client so that they knew at all times about the progress of the job.
The client received all the translations on time, and the translations were 100% accurate and compliant with the local law. This allowed the client to shoot with no delays whatsoever.
